pictures stolen from my friends' handphones. let me share some Saint spirit here, hahah.
Hockey semis today!
"Rainbow! Rainbow!"
the rugby boys are fantastic cheerleaders (well, better than the councillors anyw) and super rowdy too. ahah but things were definitely a little too quiet without them.
now i can gladly say that i'm proud to be a Saint :)
class outing to Island Creamery was eventually postponed, and few of us headed for B&J's instead. shouting "Jessica!" when i saw her and being shunned by my friends after that cos they said it was AH LIAN. aha bitch.

chapel today.. made me think.
when i see the people around me, immersed in the Lord's love, and believing with so much faith, i am touched. worshipping Him, it is no longer just a symbol of respect to them - it's their expression of emotion, their liberation and their deepest connections within themselves, and to God. He is indeed their life, their everything.
call me cynical, distrusting, skeptical.. whatever. i've never believed in God. but i do respect their faith, and their belief that he's around. to me, he is a distant figure. existent, or a figment of surrealism crafted by believers, i will never know. i see no harm in believing, in worshipping, in learning about Him. if He is able to give love, give security, give hope, then there is no why that people should not have faith in him.
sometimes, i wonder why i do not have faith in such issues. i think that it would be good to know that you are being watched and blessed upon. but i do not want these issues to become an excuse or even a basis for me to believe in God. and then again, i ponder to myself.
in general, am i too distrusting? a friend told me that today - it seemed to take alot for me to place my trust in someone.
suspicion. insecurity.
i can never draw the line. but placing all my faith into something i cannot sense, cannot feel and cannot see, is one risk that i'll never take.
these walls i built around myself.
i built them.
myself.

What are the rules of freedom?
As we are liberated, everywhere in chains.
I miss you, mummy.
